Most Kung-Fu-ish movies have a filler fighting scene in a back room sweat shop.

1) I'll be going to see this with my brother tonight or tomorrow.
2) I've already purchased my fiance the diamond earings she wanted.
3) It would not have made a difference in what order these were done, they still would have been done.
But that wouldn't make sense if #3 was first h:

you should see the movie. i havent seen it, but hopefully its well done enough so that you can actually learn something about this conflict. the poor working conditions (but even in this aspect sweatshops are paradise to these diamond mines) is only 1 aspect of the the diamond conflict. Arms dealing, money laudering, coruption and lots lots more problems. In fact when you think about it diamond are ideal for money laundring... so much value in such a small package.

Accroding to this, don't you think conflict diamonds would be worth more since they are harder to get and are illegal? I mean shit, if I was rockin' a conflict diamond, I would be a true pimp because almost no one else has one.

i wonder how much Debeers paid for this kind of advertising... there is lots of evidence that the Kimberly process is not working very well. heres a fact not written on that website: the US reported exporting more diamonds then it received in 2003, a remarkable trade imbalance for a nation without a single working mine. the GAO(US Government accountability Office) said that, with bureaucratic dryness, that such firgures were "not plausible."

the diamonds are bought with dirty money, smuggled ouy of africa to europe with fake paper work and sold to europe's trading centers.

one more problem the kimberly process has, is it only concern itself with nations that are in a state of war as defined by the UN. overlooking all kinds wrong doing in countries like Angola or even RDC h:.

This is a serious problem... dont be fooled with stupid advertising paid by jewlers and firm that make profits off diamond.

but as i stated above there is alot of good coming out of the diamond trade i just think there should be a better process.
