most of the american market may have a preference one way or another but i will say this, people who are through and through domestic sure have more respect for the import world then you think. dont believe me? i grew up in the back of a engine shop watching my dad build 700 hp chevy motors...700 hp motors that will tear up just about anything on here. and after showing my father some of the things these imports are capable of he has a large respect for them...

I own GM, Ford, Dodge, Toy, Jeep, and Honda products. Not sure why you have such shit luck because all of mine have been just fine for me lasting into the hundreds of thousands of miles with no real major issues. I am just going to assume your wrenching and basic maintenence skills are the suck.
