Default Xenon VS LED

I'm trying to get some white bulbs for the interior of my car and I was wondering whether I should go for Xenon bulbs or LED bulbs? Which ones are brighter?

depends.

xenon type bulbs have a blue tint to them
led based bulbs have a narrow output.

I want something bright that will light up the car. So, narrow probably won't work as well...

Get some bulbs from Home Depot, tint them to the color you like, and wire them up to a switch

For your gauge cluster? Or dome lights?

Either way, LED's don't "spread" like traditional bulbs. I've never tried the xenon's.

Let's just assume that I'm not good with the whole wiring thing and I just wanted to get some bulbs. Xenon or LED? I don't care about the life span of the bulbs, just the light output.

Try those xenon's out, they take all of 1.3 minutes to replace. LED's wont illuminate your entire car, similar to a "spot" light.
