Default how long can a car sit before being damaged?

im asking because my car has been sittin in a shop for over 3 months now... and it sickens me to think about what damage is being done by sitting for so long to the shocks/tires etc.

anyone have a fact about this?

shocks and tires should be fine. tires may lose some air pressure. no harm

i'd worry more about the motor. if it hasnt been started for a long time, drip some oil into each cylinder before starting it up preventing scoring to the cylinder walls from being dry too long.

I will have to remind the shop doing my timing belt/water-pump to do that before cranking over my motor.

i recall having my very first civic sitting in the garage for like 4 years.
All I did was drain the current oil, re-fill with new and fired it right up.
Took a while for it to crank, guess the fuel pump needed to push some fuel but all in all it was fine.

just as long as the tire pressure is fine, the wheels should be good.

if they're off ... and you let the car sit, you'll develop flat spots in the rubber.
