I took the train from HBG to Baltimore. Stopped in york, worst 2 hour ride ever. Some homeless guy was shooting up heroin and died half way to MD. They didn't even stop the train, nobody knew anything about it until we got to MD and the ambulance was waiting. Never again.

For that price difference, fly. Try leaving from Baltimore (BWI) , usually cheaper than anything else local.

Travel by air is by far the safest form of transportation.

Your safer 30,000 feet in the sky, than in a car on the highway.

 

hardly. flying is safer than driving

 

The train can be alright, just be prepared for "extra" stoppage time when the train just randomly stops

 

planes are faster and safer.

 

this i know. but i'd rather die in a car than a plane, if i had to pick.

 

I'd ride the train for an hour or so, but rather fly if longer
