I've always meant to make this thread, but I always forget...

I hate it when I'm in a drive-thru at night and some person in a SUV behind me leaves their headlights on.

I dont think i've had someone use their parking lights in a drive-thru in the car behind me in at least a couple of years.

Do you guys use parking lights when you go up someone's driveway or similar situations?

 

No because my car is low enough so that my lights don't blind anybody.

 

yes, all the time. And it pisses me off that no one else does.

cool, i thought i was the only one that gets pissed off.

 

i use them all the time, night or day. i know its totally not necessary, but i like to know that ive got at least a slight increase in other peoples visibility. it def helps not having to double-check while driving through tunnels or parking garages to help others know im there

but i leave my headlights on while going through a drive-thru, but mostly b/c my car isnt 5 ft off the ground

 

I HATE when people do that in drive-thru's. I almost get out and blind them with my maglite and say how does it feel. If your lights are hitting the back window turn them off.

 

Nope. I use my parking lights at customs, drive throughs and any other place that requires me to wait in line for awhile. Very rarely do I see anyone else do it. It's a courtesy thing IMO...I also NEVER have my headlights on while in someone's driveway at night.
