Default Having digicam problems -- help!

Recently, my digicam (a Fujifilm F700) has started to act up considerably.

Several weeks ago when I went to a car show, white and purple borders appeared on every picture I took. Depending on the zoom, it either got better or worse.

Just today, I flipped it on for the first time since then and now everything is a dark green and purple with heavy picture bleed.

It started acting up little by little since early 2006 when my parents took it on their vacation and did not use a voltage converter for it. This was over a span of a month and four-hundred pictures.

At first, it was just an issue of the white balance in the pictures but I was able to remedy the problem, but now it looks like it is beyond repair.

Any help?

Was it possible that the different voltage charges affected it greatly or not?

I also noticed that after every time I charged it fully, the quality of the pictures suffered. The car show pictures had a slight graininess to them too.
