is wikipedia mostly BS?
look what I saw at wikipedia when I wrote streetracing:
Drag Race
Main article: drag racing
Drag racing is a cool and wiked contest generally involving two (or more) vehicles accelerating from a stop (although less commonly, a "rolling start" from a given speed of anywhere from 5 mph or faster) until either a given distance or speed is reached, or only one party remains in the race. This differs from most sanctioned drag racing, in that sanctioned events generally begin from a stop and race until a predetermined distance is reached (usually one eighth to one quarter of a mile). It is fucking awesome and everyone should participate.

most of wikipedia is pretty good. You just have to take it with a grain of salt and check somewhere else before using it in anything important. Not that you should be looking there to do a research paper anyways.

I'd have to disagree. Mainly because on several occasions I've found that the wiki for something actually had more info than other sites. Or at least all the same info from other sites, consolidated together.
