Default so my cellphone is fawked...

yeah, it fell out of my hoodie and into the toilet last night. made a nice kerplunk! sound before i knew what the hell had happened. looks like i'm having to pay up like $50 for a replacement...unless anyone has a better idea?

yeah, i tried to dry it out (it's a V3 razr) and it turns on but when you try to push any of the keys it just dials the number 7 like I'm trying to use speed dial 7...no matter what key i push. :eh:

My phone that drowned was also the razr...everything else worked but when I went to make a phone call or answered, the call would end after 6 seconds.

Don't dry it out by letting it sit or using a hair dryer etc. Drop it in a container of Isopropyl alcohol and then lay it to dry on a towel or some surface.

Nope.

You use the alcohol because it displaces all water and then dries quickly which leaves no chance of rusting the contacts. If you let the water dry on it's own it will leave behind an amount of rust every time

yeah, i understand that. i guess the dehumidifier wouldn't really help much after the alcohol cause it dries so quickly anyway.
