What's the best navigation systems? I seen the commercial for the TomTom today and it looks very interesting.

TomTom's graphics suck and it doesn't have nearly the features that the nuvi does.

We bought my sister a TomTom 900 i think for her birthday. Its a very nice unit, clear, large display and easy to navigate touch screen. It also has a very nice clear sounding speaker and the option to play through the vehical speakers. Lots of features aswell. It was however almost 1000 bucks

i think the review i saw, said that Tomtom is very easy to use and had better ratings than garmin
oh i think it was an episode of Fifth Gear

 

get text-to-speech ftw.

my nav right now only says "in 300ft turn left" i'd much rather have "in 300ft turn left on main street" :sad:

 

garmin is rated #1 in the industry as far as navigation

 

The Nav in my TL is pretty good :dunno:
