Wow glad you are ok!
Actually I personally think ramps are more dangerous than jacking up your car and using jackstands. My father inlaw came over so I could change his oil. Pulled up to the ramps, I squared them on his tires and he slowly creeped up them. Go to the top but still on the incline side and gave it a little more gas and the ramps shot out from under the tires and the whole car leapt over the ramps. The car landed on top of the ramps, so now we have this balancing act of a car on ramps.

So I ran quickly to get my jack to lift the car off the ramps and bring it back down. I'm lucky the ramps didn't shoot out and hit me or something.

Wow, that is scary... Glad you are ok. I always get this weird feeling when I get under the car even with jackstands... Is your car lowered?

Mike, I've always had fears of that kinda stuff too. plus, trying to get my civic on them has always been tough.

95LSv, yeah, its dropped about 2 inches.

haha....I can't believe it has been 2+ years now. Time flies! Finally, I don't have nightmares anymore about it! I'm sure that finally getting rid of the car helped!
