i think there is also a problem with gapless playback.... something along the lines of the program actually taking the free space out of songs in the begining and ends--

maybe thats just what it's doing :dunno:

if not you can always just switch back to 6... there was no real functionality beyond gapless playback that i can see anyone actually needing

damn, thanks for the heads up. looks like i won't be installing version 7 afterall. i have to preserve as much of my 256 megs of RAM as possible. :a:

Mine was at 55k, didn't go above Firefox when I sorted, not even when playing a song. I have 1200 songs though.

yeah, itunes is a memory hog, there's not much else to it.. :/

and holy crap, i see a lot processes that need to be killed. why are you running SQL Server? :thinking:
