Default Argh! No win situation.

I've got my work business phone # setup to Sim Ring both my office phone and Blackberry at the same time. So whether I'm in or out the office, I don't miss business related calls. And being that I switch mobile devices constantly I don't bother giving anyone THAT # out since they simply just have to call the business # and I get the call.

Any who. Lately I've been getting a flood of telemarketing calls conducted by outsourcer's who can barely speak a word of English outside of their script. So any words outside typical responses, they use the same rebuttal and I can't get them to understand they are calling a business and to take me off their list.

I've even tried calling the #'s back to attempt to speak to someone in the US but they come back as disconnected. :dunno:

Cliff Notes: I need to get my work phone # changed.

theres a national do not call list, go to google and do a search for it and it'll come up with a website where you can take your # off their calling lists

It doesn't help at all, in my experience. I even got an email claiming that list was in fact a scam which eventually sells your phone number to more solicitors.

the email you got is obviously from someone who supports telemarketing and does not want people signing up.

everyone i know (including myself) who has registered on that list has seen courtesy calls drastically reduced..

everyone should register! https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx
