There's this sub shop here in Madison called Silver Mine, it's a chain of some sort that's based somewhere else. But damn it's fucking tasty. They're open til after bar time. I had turned Josh on to it and now he actually will be like, "dude Silver Mine" as a night of drinking wears on.

My sub of choice last night was the Georgetown. It consists of turkey breast, provolone, bacon, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, avocado, and ranch dressing. It's friggin tasty, but can get drippy so care must be taken in eating it back at home while lounging back on the couch, lest one's wifebeater get dripped with a gooey mixture of avocado and ranch dressing.

I was only reminded of this because in planning what to do for a trip home to DC, I was reading about some bar that's in Georgetown.

Yea they have a Silver Mines up here... been there several times.

Kinda pricey though
