So my friends were right.... If you get AIDS, all you have to do is get AIDS again and it will cancel itself out.

I fail to see results.

Every month or two there is some "AIDS BREAKTHROUGH" which they basically just take the same basic idea of a vaccine and reword it.... yet I don't hear about anyone actually benefiting from it or being cured.

it is because there is no 100% cure yet. it is all breakthrough technology that is close to being a cure and only surpress it.

right now HIV is being supressed by cocktail drugs to delay AIDS. ...but as with any virus, HIV can mutate and be immune to the drugs.

all these different "breakthroughs" are alternatives to delay AIDS without having to use cocktail drugs that the HIV virus can mutate and be immune to. as of now..there is no 100% cure...but a better way to delay or supress the HIV virus before the AIDS condition can occur.

so they send in dummy cells to try and curb the growth of the virus?

seems far from a cure or anything of that nature to me... best case senario for this type of procedure would be constant transfusions of the engineered cells, effectivly limiting the ammount of HIV in the bloodstream, other than that i see no major breakthrough... just more BS that they found something better than the last guy.

I understand that but this "press release" is just a reword on the same story we keep hearing every month or two. They just outline what a vaccine is and leave it at that. There's not proof that it's actually benefiting anyone.
