Default Workout Squad: Dead lifts

ok so i am having alot of problems with deadlifts

week 1 of doing deadlifts I get 1 set done and when i start the second set I get a sharp pain right to the left of my abs. Stopped immediately

week two the exact same thing during the second set. Also stopped immediately.

Is it my form? Any good sites to show form of deadlifts. Also I am using pretty light weight too

Pain in your stomach and not your back? That's weird. I pulled my back doing deadlifts once, and the sharp pain was in my lower back.

Only thing I can say is don't go up too quickly.

hmm...hard to diagnose this over the web. i recommend deadlifting with someone experienced who can watch your form and help you make adjustments. im guessing your back is rounding during the movement, causing the pain in your abs.
