Ahh settling down something that is different for everyone, but in general means 1 of 2 things.

One you are tired of all the crap in life and you just want to find some good friends a decent women and start a good life for yourself.

Two is a combination of one, except you are wanting to settle down and get married and have the house and white picket fence.

One and two aren't very different except with number two you are wanting to move things a little faster.

How do you know its time to settle down? For me it was a feeling when I was around 18 or 19 but that was cause I grew up fairly fast and had a lot of expectations when I was young and missed out on a lot of the normal things teenagers do.

If you are asking this question then by no means are you ready to settle down because its like falling in love, it just happens and you know.
