YMCA gym members

anyone here use their local Y to workout? are their equipment comparable to other gyms?

the ymca i used to go to sometimes was pretty nice. not too crowded too. everyone goes to all the other gyms.

it smells like urine in the ymca by my house. so, i stopped going there
