Yes because Apple made this. It was a universities computer store that did this for fun and for Halloween, not to promote Apple. Last year they made a PC one.Its called PCMod or MacMod, people do things like this for fun and just to see what ideas they can come up with.

at least if the stupid thing looked cool, but all it looks like is a damn pumpkin with computer parts randomly sticking out of it.

Making an artificial computer case out of plaster or something that lasted, would make more sense to me. If the pumpkin had a moving mouth and blinking eyes controlled by a hidden computer, I'd be more impressed.
You can put a motherboard, processor, ram, hard drive, etc. in anything imaginable, and it will work just the same. This took absolutely no skills to accomplish.
