Did you know the US has a high-speed rail?
The Northeast Corridor from Boston to Washington, DC is serviced by Acela the only true high-speed train in the US.
In Delaware, the rail runs parallel to I-495 and I was cruising along at 80mph when out of the corner of my eye I see this sleek silver train passing me on rail. It just kept pulling away and away and away. Sounds cool too.

Apathy Kills
I grew up on the West Coast and even I knew about the Acela train. h:
And compared to the TGV, AVE and Eurostar trains... the Acela still has a long way to go. :hsughr:
