Most people don't know how, or are scared to launch them hard enough to run fast times. Almost all of the guys I see bog the shit out of the launch. I have only seen a handful of people really launch it properly, and it's a site to see. They're a car ahead by the time they reach the tree...1.7 60's on street tires is nuts.

Isn't this kind of an apples and oranges thing? I though s2k's were good track cars and STi's were ralley cars?

STi's waste s2000's in every catagory

s2000 is a soft top roadster, designed for middle aged cruisers. A nice mix of style, comfort and performance.

STi's are ugly rattle traps that haul ass.

Post some lap times of stock STi's and stock S2K's at the same event...because I doubt it would "waste" one on the track.
