If given the chance, would you.....
I would only want to see it if I was a family member or directly knew the victim. Otherwise, it becomes sport. I knew a guy in highschool who went to watch an execution of a guy he had no connection with. He was incredibly excited both before and after, and wouldn't shut up about it. He basically just wanted to see someone die, didn't really care why he was dying. It was really morbid and disturbing.

I got all the consumption junction shit out of me YEARS ago. I think the morbid stuff is a phase for most. I turn my face if I'm near anyone's computer where someone is about to kill or be killed.
Same here. But those videos dont tell a story. Alot of those are accidents or people killing others with an intent other than punishment...i.e. that reporter that was beheaded. I CANNOT for the life of me watch that. Thats why I asked it the way I did-----"lethal injection". Thats rather easy to watch than someone squirming with the head detaching.

When I had a female roommate in college, we had a conversation. A serious one. We discussed that if I walked in and caught someone rapping her, what would she want me to do? Subdue him, hurt him, slice is throat? Her reply was that she wouldn't want to be looking over her shoulder for the rest of her life.
I guess a felon go by injection might not be so bad if they really "deserved" it.
h: I'm a preacher's kid, so my thoughts about this are all over the place
I can't believe he complained to the US supreme court that Floridas lethal injection technique is too painful. Good thing he didn't do it in Nebraska. They still use the electric chair there.
