I need to get a new ball. The one I have now has cracks around the finger holes and I don't know if the ball is gonna fly out of my hand because the crack might loosen the grips inside.

Depends on the shot I am trying to make but I usually tend to just use my thumb.

Takes some getting used to but I have better control that way. I get weird looks from my friends who bowl competitivley, but every time I try it a different way it just doesn't work for me.
