are you ready to do the easiest thing you've ever done?

1)download DVD decrpyter from www.doom9.org
2)install and open DVD encrypter
3)goto TOOLS>ISO>READ
4)select the drive the disc is in, and the folder you want to save this image to.
5)click the DVD->HDD button on the bottom
6)put your DVD+R9 in
7)goto TOOLS>ISO>WRITE
8)select your drive the DVD+R9 media is in
9)Click the HDD->DVD button

take the disc out and see if it plays

Don't include the title menu and extras and you can burn onto a single-layer no problem.

this is true, you can get rid of things and then fit what was on a 9gig onto a 4.7, but in my mind it makes more sense to just straight out copy the disc if you want to copy the dvd's and you have 9gig media.

Aye. Then use compression tools but the quality will still be on par compared to what he's doing now.
