You know, the innovation one is looking for in the next generation is dependent on one's tastes. Nintendo's innovation is in it's input capabilities, and that's where it shines. PS3's innovation isn't in the graphics, so much, because the cell processor is ineffecient that department. Where the PS3 stands to shine is increased physics and AI. Things like procedural generation may be a breeze to handle on the cell processor as well. Those are the factors that make a game more enjoyable to me, and things the Wii will have a VERY difficult time to match, if not an impossible feat.
I can see myself going over to a friend's house and going "Sweet! Super Smash Bros! Let's play!", but for my home, I wanna play things like Motor Storm and 40 person fragfests on Resistance.
