i think im burnt out. these past 2 months at work have been grueling to say the least. some of you guys may remember that whole load of crap w/ the misunderstanding between me and management. THANKfully, a lot of its been cleared up and ive gained a lot more respect from my higher-ups, which is a plus.

w/ the end of gov't fiscal year, my workloads tapered off to a normal flow and im not constantly pressed to get things done. but...im tired. not just temporarily sleepy, but i want a break. :hs:

the simple solution would just to take a day off, but i feel like it wouldnt be worth it. im tryin to save up my vacation time so i can take a solid week off during christmas/new years. i just need to hang in there, but good lord.


anyone else feelin this way? like things arent really hectic, but you just want to be free from all the stress for a few days and get recharged?

whens your next planned vacation?

 

since opening my bussiness i have been working from 9pm till 2am. then work 2nd part time job from 3am-8am. off today. while all my other friends are partying,going to the movies i am stuck at work. 1month has passed and already im starting to loose my mind, i need to got out.

 

I'm fried. In September, I was dropping close to 65 to 70 hours a week ... came off a major project, to start another one within 24 hours.

So far in 2006, I have not used 1 vacation day. All the days I request off are blacked out after the fact.

 

yo for real, you were one of the people i was thinkin of when makin this thread. when are you gonna get some time off, man? is your vegas trip going to act as your vacation?

My only days off are Saturday and Sunday.... I have to do homework those days :down:

I'm with you, it's not that I'm lacking sleep or anything, which I am, but that's not really a problem... it's that I need a vacation h:

 

I did finally take some time off around thanksgiving. I have the entire week off (3 vac days used) ... but still have another 9 to blow ... + 3 sick days. With most of these dates deemed, "black" ... I have no idea when to use the rest.


I'm wouldn't mind doing Vegas at all ... but alas, I'm a slack ass and completely forget to plan stuff with my peoples.


Side note, I need a Nintendo Wii too. That thing launches the Sunday before Thanksgiving ... Vegas or at home, I need to spend time with my new ... slim ... white ... girlfriend. She's so easy to turn on too. h:
