I hate when my mom does this
Before I left the house this morning (took the bike btw) -
She goes "Dom don't go in between cars (referring to splitting lanes). Someone died last night doing that."
I'm like... Gee thanks... I really needed to hear that.

The reason I take the bike is so that I can split lanes and get to work quicker...
But my mom is always telling me horror stories about people dying on bikes.
Well she could've tried harder in convincing me NOT to get a bike.

True, but maybe she knew that no matter what, you will do what you want and all she can do is make you feel guilty for choosing something that she ultimately doesn't approve of. I mean, she probably thinks she carried you around for like 9 months in her belly making sure not to smoke pot or snort coke and booze it up, and then nurture and care for you for most your existing life.
I mean, that's probably what she's thinking.
