just go with the pulling the light bulb idea plus if people need lights bring a flash light

Stupid questions, but have you tried to turn down the dimmer switch? My mom used to have a '96 Town & Country had a dimmer wheel on the dash next to the headlight switch. There were two click stops at the top of the dimmer switch, I remember one of em was to turn all the interior lights.
