how much does it cost to get a head cleaned/checked?
uh...... actualy..... yes
for me it should
d15b8 - 8 VALVE (70 hp) :noes:
d16y8 - 16 valve vtec with the y8 intake manifold/throttle body which is like twice the size of my stock one
also bumps my compresion to 11:1
so ill be feelin that
and i bought the b16 swap but got scammed remember? that crazzler4r guy or what ever..... now im out 1500 bucks
i just needed to do something to get faster
so this was my next option..... i already have the ex tranny on

im not eactly sure.... cause it wont be the same as the stock y8 engine....
could posibly be more cause of compression? probably less though dunno
but i should have more torque than a b16 i think
i know a guy that did it for his d15b7 and dyno it at 106 ft lbs and 130 hp,

You live in L.A, right? There's a place called LA machine shop on Venice near Centinela. They're nice guys and have great prices. They grinded a flywheel for me and cleaned my d16 head before I sold it. (310) 390-7507. It's a stone's throw from where I work. Roll through and we'll walk over to Mitsuwa and have JDM lunch
