d15b8 - 8 VALVE (70 hp) :noes:

d16y8 - 16 valve vtec with the y8 intake manifold/throttle body which is like twice the size of my stock one

also bumps my compresion to 11:1

and i bought the b16 swap but got scammed remember? that crazzler4r guy or what ever..... now im out 1500 bucks

i just needed to do something to get faster so this was my next option..... i already have the ex tranny on

So that equates to how much more real world horsepower/torque? Any change in fuel economy? Just wondering h:

im not eactly sure.... cause it wont be the same as the stock y8 engine....

could posibly be more cause of compression? probably less though dunno

but i should have more torque than a b16 i think

i know a guy that did it for his d15b7 and dyno it at 106 ft lbs and 130 hp,

You live in L.A, right? There's a place called LA machine shop on Venice near Centinela. They're nice guys and have great prices. They grinded a flywheel for me and cleaned my d16 head before I sold it. (310) 390-7507. It's a stone's throw from where I work. Roll through and we'll walk over to Mitsuwa and have JDM lunch

not worth the trouble or the money....you mite as well just thrown a d16z6 or d16y8 into it for prob. less money at this point.
