I matched most of them up... but the diagram from http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/HA-Wiring.pdf
isn't perfect...
and I got these wires left over

BTW i'm putting on the newer honda plug so i can use the newer honda radios..

is there any other site w/ radio diagrams?

I need to figure out from the blue plug (1998+ hondas) , which one left over is the 12 volt battery wire (on paper it says "white w/ yellow stripe" butt there is no such color..

Also it says black on black fro Groudn wire, but I got two blacks ???

Why..does the 98 and older have a power antenna wire, but the 99+ doesnt? atleast not in the diagram..

Power & Ignition wires will be thicker (lower gauge) than everything else.
Also, if I remember correctly, I had to use a common ground.

Thick black wire = probably ground wire
Thick white wire = is probably +12 hot

Could you take a closer picture showing more of the wires on the car harness?

F.Y.I. -- The newer OEM radio unit's will lower & raise the antenna mast every time you eject & re-insert a CD. Also when changing between CD & AM/FM Radio. This get's annoying! Make your life easier & just hook the power antenna lead to your Ignition Wire. Then it will raise when the car is on, and lower when shut off.

the diagram for the 98+ is totally out of position...

with this picture i found...seems like the last one is blue (antenna switch), which would connect w/ the black one.

Flip the blue connector around 180 deg.

Follow the 97 + connector on the PDF you posted.
Match the letters with the corresponding "Typical New Radio" wires.

From the looks of it, your four left over wires...

Black = Ground
Blue = Power Antenna

Take note that EFG aren't used on the blue clip.

With that in mind, the red wires you have left over, connect to a speaker on the other connector. *You will have left over wires*

If all else fails... Get your power wires correct, and plug the harness in with the stereo. Test at low volume to identify the speaker wires.

Most radios I've seen have the wire scheme printed on them. at least my Blaupunkt ones do, even the 20 y/o OEM one did. I think my tracer's had it as well.
