Tanzania and USS Cole happened before the visit to North Korea...and North Korea had NOTHING to do with either one! In fact, North Korea has nothing do to with terrorism!

And I have yet to hear one Democrat disagree with the War On Terror. You are confusing the War On Terror with the War In Iraq, two completely separate issues.

From Wikipedia:
The ad was intended for use by GOP organizations, but was considered somewhat controversial by GOP Strategists.
I am sorry, but if one of the political parties will not use an ad because it is too controversial, that is telling you something.

But how can I argue with this?

it's funny cuz it's true!

those attacks are shown as examples of what kind of people we're dealing with.

exactly. it shows that these GOP strategists have at least a little respect. if the tables were turned, i doubt we'd see the same. that is given the track record of today's democrats, who love to launch all kinds of scathing attacks, even unsubstantiated ones.

The War In Iraq had nothing to do with terrorism. Saddam did not like terrorists any more than we do. The War On Dictators? Sure. War On Terror? Not at all.

Wait, wait. I seem to remember two years ago getting bombarded by Swiftboat Veterans ads. They had to be some of the dirtiest campaign ads I have ever seen. And what attacks are Democrats throwing around?

This site should really have another place for serious discussion. Something that allows people to stay on topic with current events.

I do think democrats ads are more attacking but at least they're more truthful. Republican ads tend to exagerate and lie more often. Depending on what side of the fence you're on will determine your own opinion of course. That's why it's best to ask an Independent what they think.

Independents are just about as useful in a two-party political system as a third pedal on a bicycle.

In a perfect world the US wouldn't have a two party political system, but most Americans seem to have the need to divide themselves in a "this or that" mentality. "If I'm not one, I'm the other". A dichotomy if you will. Pretty sad.

At least independents can hold their liquor and remember the e-brake.
