ups teh sux0rs
I bought a set of tein coilovers from a 3rd party. UPS lost the package and looks for the package for 2 weeks to no avail. UPS starts the claim process, knowing they lose the package. Seller doesn't have the receipt for the teins, and thus cannot prove to UPS the value of the contents. Being the receiver, i want my $$ back from the seller ASAP, why should i have to wait if the guy can't prove to UPS the value? Either way, i should get my $$ back no? Package was insured, i paid for shipping etc..
Am i wrong in asking the guy for a refund NOW vs. waiting until he gets his $$ from UPS? why should i have to wait?

where did i say it was his fault? its not my fault either, and i should receive my refund ASAP IMO. even if ups doesn't process the claim, he still owes me $$.
it isn't my responsibilty to show proof of contents. its the sellers. if i paid for insurance and he can't prove to UPS, i don't see how that affects MY refund. if it doesnt happen this way, ill dispute the charge w/ visa.
