Where were preludes built in? Were they all built in Japan some here some there, where?

Alot of Japanese made Hondas were built in Suzuka.....

All Preludes were built in Japan to US spec.

OK, here are the three places that your Lude could have been assembled: Suzuka, Japan; Sayama, Japan; and Tochigi, Japan.


Read the manual of the car might help you out a little..
Or you can try to decode your VIN..
For example, in a 5th Gen...
JHM BB6 a b c d C 123456 stands for
JHM = Japan Honda Motor Company
BB6 = Chasis name
a = Tranny. Either 1/2, 1=stick, 2=auto
b = Trim. Either 4/5, 4=base, 5=SH
c = random check digit
d = Year. Either V/W/X/Y/1, 97/98/99/00/01
C = Plant. Sayama, Japan
123456 = serial number
