the first time I changed springs it took me 6 hours too. It gets a lot easier the more times you do it.

Yeah the first time (quite a few years back), took like 5-6 hours. But since then I can do them in a jiffy.

However, with being in a new location (away from LA house) and basically no tools, and a different setup (my girly car ), took a while.

Pics of girly car are here. There are before and after pics.

Scroll down to see the Tein installed.

http://www.mazda-speed.com/gallery/RYAN

Measurements from ground to fender lip
Front-23 inches
Rear-24 inches.

**lowered it on the OEM 17s now..took off the 15 inch volk te 37..because i wanted to make sure there was no rub with the 17s.**

Car rides very smooth. No bounce, no rubbing, great suspension travel. Love it

Went to a "roadster" meet last night, got lots of compliments.

Now have to get the camber adjusted (love no camber kits are needed).

Took me 4hrs to do my first spring install... I didn't have a spring compressor so I used my spare tire and put the shock/spring against it and me standing on the spring while loosening it to get it off... it scared me and it was a stupid way to do it.... but it worked h:

clean drop

question, why are intercoolers so small on the mazdaspeeds? I'm guessing it would help performance if you got a bigger one, but I'd get a bigger intercooler just for asthetic reasons, but thats just me.
