I don't know about Top Gun... I was born the year it came out. My grandfather was a pilot in the war. 2 of my uncles and 2 of my cousins are airline pilots... Must run in the family :dunno:

well i took all the entrance exams & tests for the marine corps & was on the path to join the week after graduation......then a hyperflexed knee running track & field my senior year caused a postponment of those plans.
decided i would goto college & get my degree so i could join the marines as an officer & let my knee heal properly. i was a double-major of accounting/business management & double-minor of computer information systems/psychology (of all things LOL)
i took a shitload of CLEP tests (college level exam placement) & started my second "freshman" semester as a junior. i was taking a 22-credit course load (had to have dean's permission to take more than 18 in a semester) & was taking a full course-load in the summer & was on the dean's list every semester (yay me LOL)
i was actually on the path to be graduated double-major/double-minor in 3 years. i was seriously looking into going to west point & making a life-time career of the marines, but in my 2nd "junior" semester, i met a girl that i fell madly in love with & at the same time had started to get a bit burned out on the schedule i was keeping.
so i decided to "take a year off"......that was august of 1990. "things" happened since then.....deaths, a found different life, etc.
so now i work for bellsouth in nashville as an adsl installer, but i am contemplating making a move to las vegas in the next couple of years

when I was little I wanted to be a motorcycle cop (I was a hard core Chips fan)
then I wanted to be a fighter pilot, but found out that I'm way too tall.
then I wanted to be the announcer for a game show
then a professional musician, I actually am but I'm not able to do it full time as my only job
my dream is to be a voice on cartoons, and I still want to do it to this day. I think it would be so much fun making all sorts of goofy voices all day long.
