When I was out in California this June, I had no issues /w reception on Verizon service.

Edit: All my friends who have had sprint have had nothing but negative things to say about it, but this is also in the Cincinnati area, not sure how sprint works in Cali.

Yeah Sprint has to be the worst carrier available...even since they merged with Nextel...there service has doubley sucked lol

I've had sprint for 5 years and NEVER had any problems or complaints. Not saying sprint is better than verizon it just depends on location. Some are better than others but to put sprint down and say it sucks is just plain moronic.

If both sprint and verizon work fine in your area, IMO go with sprint.....their phones are way better
