Exactly. Most insurance companies require dependents to stay in school to maintain the insurance if theyre within a certain age.

When I got out of college in 2000 my first "professional" job paid me $10/hr. I was 21.

I'm 28 now and married, make slightly more than $100k.

Don't think about what is a good salary for your age, but a good salary for your profession.

I was still under my mom's health insurance until i turned 25. So i was covered until i was 24.999999 years old.
