The only thing that has changed for me is I now have a college degree. Still make the same money (a little more maybe with the wood working business), but not much different.

I'm 26 making 55k a year, no college degree. When I started with this company 2 years ago I was only making 34k a year. This year I'm looking to bump up to at least 60k.

 

It also depends on where you live. Someone working in east bumblefuck Kentucky doing web design is going to make less than someone doing the same work in, lets say, LA or NY.

I am 24 and I make 30k / yr. but I don't pay any rent. I do, however, have a kid. The cost of supporting a family offsets the savings from not paying rent

 

i make 60 which is decent here but probably nothing in cali. :rofl:

 

27, been in the line of work for about 4 years, around $50,000 but only $28,200 of that is salary. The rest is commission, bonuses, side work, rent, etc.


:edit: missed that this was an old thread. In the last 2.5 years, total income has probably doubled, bought a condo, which has done wonders for my tax return h:
