I would have said 30k is good, but as everyone else said location/profession make a huge difference.

I agree with this in some aspects but not all.

I live in a small town and not a high cost of living.

One thing I do know, the better you are at what you do, the more of a reputation you have. The better the reputation you have in the community, the more money you make.

:werd: I have some decent connections in the state of Arizona for Engineering/Architect Firms... All I have to do is send my resume and I have a job there... I have my bosses and supervisors to thank for mentioning my name when it came to dishing out deadlines early or on time h:

During the day I'm a truck driver for a foodservice company. If my avg weekly pay stays the same, I'll be making 54k/year.

For my business, I've made 5k+/month and lost that much in a month too, so it's hard to say.
