my 30gb video refurbished works perfect .... some apple stores will give you a brand new one from the store (from the stories i read) . when it restarts, i think its normal to have the hd click

 

I bought my 30 gb video brand new and it's had its share of quirks. For example, when I disconnect from my computer I can't seem to shut it off for like 5 minutes for some reason. And I've had issues with the "no sound until your restart it" thing. No biggie.
