Default what are some kickass samurai movies?

what are some kickass samurai movies? I've seen "The last Samurai,"and the old black & white "the seventh Samuria". I like them both enough to buy them on DVD. Does anyone know of any others that are better.

House of Flying Daggers is Chinese.

Jet Li's "Fearless" just came out, as did The Protector. Tony Jaa is frickin amazing, but these aren't samurai movies.

I just recently watched the 2003 remake of Zatoichi (the Blind Swordsman). Whoever did the English subtitles sucked; I've been rewriting them a bit, but the movie itself is interesting. The Crippled Masters, Casshern, Kagemusha (same director/writer as The 7 Samurai), Rashoman, Chushingura, Harakiri... All good.

The Samurai Triology. It is based off the book Musashi by Eiji Yoshikawa

Most any film by Akira Kurosawa should be good. The only one I have on DVD is Ran. I believe it was his first color film.
