explain to me why swap a perfectly good engine for another?
I see kids these days taking their 02 civics with less then 30k miles and putting k20, k24 etc. I mean I just don't understand it. I understand you will go a little faster and have a little more torque but why spend 4-5k when you can just sell your car and get ep3 for a lot less headache and no smog hassle. I realize not everyone likes the way other cars with more powerful engines look, but maybe you should just keep your car stock and then trade in to something else that you do like with more power. I am guilty of the "swap" thinking myself but I never done it, even on a civic I had with 160k miles.

why buys something ugly when you can just take the ugly cars engine? Who the hell cares about smog anyway either
h:
why do people put rims on cars when stock is perfectly fine....why buy better tires when the shit you have is fine...why put exhuast on a car when stock isnt rusty......by your account, everybody should just drive stock cars and never change anything.
