i used to have hair a little past my shoulders, but that was back in the mid 90's so yeah...

The longest I had my hair was when I was growing it out for my dredlocks. I grew it to about my shoulders and when it was all locked up my hair reached the bottom of my face. After I got sick of the itching and smelling like patchouli I cut them off.

Now I just let it grow out but never past my chin. Why? Because I don't give a shit. I can just get in the shower wash it and dry it off and it does whatever it wants to after that. Guys who spend time on their hair=metro.
