Default When a stoplight sign says "no turn on red"

...and there's nobody around or traffic is really light - do you turn anyway?

I don't. I was following my coworker last night and he turned on a no-turn-on-red, so I had to really speed up to catch up to him when the light turned green.

:werd: Seriously, I'm trying not to break any laws. Maybe a lot of people can't read and I have to point the sign out to them.

I've seen too many drivers get pulled over for that, so I don't take that risk.

I do, when nobody is around. However, I do thoroughly try and look for cops. But if they decide to get me for it, at least I know I was breaking the law and wont bitch about it.

nope, although i wish i could

...but in other cases, those signs are posted up in areas where visibility is horrible and it would be stupid to try to turn on red w/o your green light. too scary
