I recommended audiophile grade, not Kicker

BTW, should have went with the SX series for its built in DSP.

Ditch the stupid Kicker and go good quality. memphis, Diamond, ED, etc...

The capacitor is a good choice. Since it keeps a steady power onto the amplifier.
2g wire is normally off brand wire. second if he did 4g he WILL need a cap, at least a 2 farad. memphis is absolute garbage, it cant handle any kind of real power and its distorted bass. diamond is trash to. if you want a good sub that no one will fuck with then get a dd. theres a whole nother world then the consumer stuff that you speak of.

you should never buy stuff from a shop online unless they are authorized by the company.

I would love to read reviews on how much garbage memphis is as well as diamond. http://www.memphiscaraudio.com/reviews/

As for the whole other side...notice the ED reference. Also good stuff.

I find it funny to see High-end and DD go together in a sentence.
