this is why I didn't want to buy an iPod in the first place. You spend $200 and in a month or so it's already out of date. I do like the idea of the new 8gb nano, but I'm not spending another $300 on an ipod when the one I have know works well enough and I don't use it enough to justify that purchase. especially when I can get rearsets for my bike with that money.

 

Not fast enough. Everyone I know that had an ipod, it either broke or they sold it.

Just in general, problem with this or that, the "excitment" died. It's just an mp3 player. It's nothing fancy.

i like the aluminum casing for the nano. at least it won't scratch as easily. but i would have chosen some different colors this time - something a little less neon.

interesting... mine's been going strong for a year.. actually i don't know anyone that has had an ipod fail on them, except my cousin who had to get the battery in his mini replaced. but they just sent him a new one, so he was perfectly happy. :dunno:

ipods are still the best selling DAPs globally.. no one has come close to apple in sales. but don't get me wrong, i'm all for greater competition. i'd love to see someone come along and give apple a run for their money. as long as it isn't microsoft...

 

so i guess they dropped the price of my 30 gig video iPod to $249? Oh well...other than that, I don't see too many changes besides the massive storage of the 80 gb. That's more space than my laptop even has. :wtc:
