Contacts are amazing. People's eyes react differently towards them, however. I can wear them for weeks on end without taking them out (unhealthy, I know) while others can wear them for no more than 6 or 7 hours before they get dry.

Honestly, do not get in the habit of not taking them out at night. It can cause some serious problems down the road.

my glasses didn't bother me except when i would take my jet ski out, cause as soon as i got splashed in the face the salt water would dry on the lenses and i couldn't see... and when snowboarding, wearing my glasses under my goggles gave me massive headaches because my goggles were pressing my glasses onto my face for 4-6 hours straight.

I started wearing them about a year ago but now wear them very rarely. I use Acuvue with Hydraclear. And I generally only wear them when I go out at night since thats when my vision is the worst.

the ones i got are designed to be worn for weeks at a time. my doc said i have to work up to that, so im supposed to take em out tonight, wear em all day tomorrow, take em out tomorrow night, wear em all day and night the next 2 days, etc until my body is used to it... but after that they're staying in for a month.

I have never had those. Considering I do not take the ones I have now out for about a month, I would never really need to take those out...

I can't wait until I'm old enough to get lasic. But I'm not sure what the Air Force's policy on it is. I remember hearing that you were automatically dq'd period for it, but I know that they are having pilots get the surgery. (I don't care to be a pilot unless I can)
