i was late to class listening to Howard Stern and he said a plane hit ths WTC and then the cut to the news.....

I went in and told my prof, but he told me to take the test, then after the test we were all told to go home, and I went to a friends and she was hysterical and watching tv, so we smoked a bowl and chilled out......

 

I woke up shortly after the first plane hit the north tower. I checked my (then) AOL account and saw the headline as "Plane accidently collides with World Trade Center tower." I turned on the news and watched as the second plane hit the south tower.

I woke up one of my roommates and we watched the news as it was developing. I didn't have class until 11:30, but my other roommate already came back after PSU cancelled the remaining classes. We thought the end of the world was coming.

 

I was in school.... 6th grade... they didnt want to tell us what happened but we got out of school... and my teacher told us that a bomb or something had gone off... until I got home and realized what had actually happened

 

I was a Junior in my Tech. Math 2 class. I remember the Principal coming into our room and whispering something to our Teacher...then she turned on the TV and we watched it from after the first plane crashed. We didn't get out of school...but that was fine, I was in JROTC, the most patriotic class...we had a good class that day.


What the amazing thing was, my old Colonel knew exactly who it was that was behind the attacks. I remember him word for word, "I bet you anything that this is the work of Osama Bin Laden."

Colonel was awesome, I swear, his real name is Jack Daniel.

 

I was at work, working a construction job at the time. It was around my lunch time, my mom called my cell phone and told me what had happened. I didn't think to much about it at the time, until i got off work and went to the hotel room and that was allt hat was on in the news............

 

I was a senior on college. I was in a pottery class that I was taking. Someone turned on the radio so we could listen and the Prof didn't realize what was happening and made us turn off the radio. She apologized in the next class.

 

PSU cancelled classes for 3 days.

 

I was in my first semester at my transfer college. I rememeber waking up and reading about it on HAN ... flipped on the TV, saw the fire in one of the buildings. I didn't realize how bad it was ... I knew there would be a loss of life, but not like this.

I was getting ready for class and actually saw the other tower get hit. I remember the reporters literally doing this ...

reporter: we have a live shot of the tower fire ...
reporter: *describing the scene* ... *2nd plane hits* ... *cut from the live feed back to the station*
reporter: "..."
reporter: "..."
reporter: "..."

I went to class ... went thought the motions of Engineering 201 ... headed towards a TV for an update, and saw the 1st tower go down.

 

junior year of hs, bombed a math exam, walked out to my locker, german foreign exchange student had hers next to me, she was talking all fast about a plane hit a building, i brushed her off as some crazy german thing....then walked with her to a tv and was likeh:
