im really looking hard for a good condition mk3 turbo with low miles...Where did you guys find yours and what did you pay?

MKIII Supra Turbos are spendy and most of them have been beaten pretty hard. I wouldn't do it myself...kind of like buying a modded Honda that was "never raced"

their engines are pretty much bulletproof tho. its just hard to find one untouched body wise. they all became ugly POS FATF Supras a few years back.

I'd have to disagree. There's a really nice lime green with a purple racing stripe MKIII here in town.

I don't agree. They are known for head gasket problems b/c of the torque on the head in relation to where the head bolts are. At this age, if the head gasket hasn't been done, it needs to be....and trust me...changing the head gasket on that engine is a PITA~!

Other than that though, they are VERY reliable.

I'm sorry man but really nice and lime green just don't belong in the same sentence IMO.

I do know one really nice black MK3 in Savannah but it's definitely not for sale.


edit: It's the MK4 engines that are known for being bulletproof. The 2JZ's not the... ah I forget the other ones.
