Hate those commercials...because a lot of the stuff they say PC can't do, they do perfectly fine

those commercials are misleading, and some contain outright lies.

i have one specific example, the stupid, "you just plug it in, and it works" digicam one. every single digicam i've plugged into the USB port, immediately came up on a PC. a friend of my always struggles to get his to recognize on his friend's mac.

I wasn't that impressed with the Duo iMac I used at school. It didn't seem any faster what so ever, maybe even slower if you account for the ram diff. as my 1.5ghz powerbook.
