I'm actually working on a MacBook 2ghz Core Duo right now. On business. It runs like shit until the Intel upgrade for photoshop comes out. My boss bought this thing too soon. It runs photoshop slower than the 1ghz machine he sold when he got this one.

 

those commercials are misleading, and some contain outright lies.

i have one specific example, the stupid, "you just plug it in, and it works" digicam one. every single digicam i've plugged into the USB port, immediately came up on a PC. a friend of my always struggles to get his to recognize on his friend's mac.

 

I wasn't that impressed with the Duo iMac I used at school. It didn't seem any faster what so ever, maybe even slower if you account for the ram diff. as my 1.5ghz powerbook.
